      I had past 7 years of experience at Intertek Lanka PVT LTD as Senior Analytical Chemist in softline Analytical Division. I felt it was great opportunity for me to learn & discover many new things in Textile Industry. During my stay I had played a pivotal role in assisting the entire team with many operational deliverables and stood in front as a critical team member in terms of problem solving and trouble shooting. It helps me to take challenges, large responsibilities to ensure the organization thrive on results.

      Lack of team bonding events organize by HR team.

      Pros

      Good group of people in local office.

      Cons

      Stuck in the past. Unwilling to consider updating methods or procedures. "We've done it this way for 30 years and it has worked." Sales relies upon project engineers to do most of their work for them. When volume of work is slow that becomes the engineers responsibility to go find new clients. Can't reliably pay the most basic of utility bills on time. I've seen the power cut off 2x and the gas this past winter.
