Pros

Intuit has excellent benefits. They pay at or above market for similar work other places. They have a well-organized training department to ensure employees are skilled on their products. Very flexible hours for employees with special requirements.

Cons

I worked as a customer service rep that was going through a management transition. One of the manager was extremely high maintenance and drove away some experienced employees by being aggressive and extremely discourteous. This manager was seen as a key person in the transition, so was protected from any repercussions from his actions. The morale of my department was shattered. Upper management knew of the problems but refused to remedy them.

Pros

Benefits are amazing, medical insurance, vision and dental. Company match on 401K and volunteer time off.

Cons

They keep making decisions to outsource jobs to contract workers who don't share the same value in training or customer care. Oh they say they do but when you catch the listening to music so loud you can't hear the customer, or literally snoring on the line they can't do anything because of the way the contracts are set up. It is up to the contract company and the contract company just needs warm bodies. They did not even supply enough people doing our busiest season this year to co or the shifts that were required in the contract. So good luck with that. They will always eventually lay you off.
