Pros
Frist off, Intuit has been a GREAT place to work and was everything I hoped it would be! I've been thoroughly impressed with the pay and benefits at Intuit. In addition to highly competitive base pay and bonuses, you also have access to additional financial incentives like the 401k match, RSU stock grants, discounted stock purchase plans, and a variety of other "free money" opportunities. The office perks and amenities are above average as well. Free snacks, espresso machine, sparkling water machine, plus an on-site cafe offering the cheapest meals you can buy. We're also invited to participate in fun weekly activities that often results in some sort of small prize, swag, or dessert. The culture is inclusive and the people are kind and supportive. For the most part, everyone is collaborative and rallies around each other to get things done. Aside from some employees who were grandfathered in to full remote roles, most employees are hybrid which was just bumped up to three days a week in the office.
Cons
Intuit has a lot of seemingly duplicative applications across the organization with no desire for standardization. It's often left up to the individual teams to determine how they want to work and the tools they use, which may not align with other teams. Priorities seem to change a lot. What's important this week may no longer be important next week. I understand the ever changing landscape of this business, but it's hard on employees who end up scrapping hard work to move on to something else. The hybrid work approach is great for flexibility, but can take a toll on employees who appreciate personal connection and a sense of belonging. This is especially true for virtual teams who are not physically co-located.
