Pros
-Rapidly growing company in both market share and employee number but still has a collective startup mentality -Able to solve problems in minutes and hours instead of days and weeks because of the streamlined, bottom-up approach to team management -While there isn't a clearly outlines career progression pipeline there is opportunity to promote/shift roles so long as you make it known to management that it is a priority for you -Fantastic benefits across the board
Cons
-As a rapidly growing company in a constantly evolving space we're writing the playbook as we go. If defined structure is a must-have in your ideal job that can be a challenge. -There is a constant struggle to maintain a small startup culture that doesn't necessarily match with the current size and scope of operations. -The lack of a mentorship, career progression and continuing education/training program has not been a priority for management. (Looks like some changes in approach might be on the horizon). -While it's normal to have turnover in the biotech space and even more so in the current job market it can be a detractor. There's been a significant turnover in the past several months--incentive programs may help reduce the turnover rate.
