Pros
The perks of working here (Boulder office) are great, from good benefits to good salary equality based on experience to free lunches 2x a week and a WELL stocked breakroom. The mission is great to bring genetic testing into more fields and to more clients. The people are mostly very nice, hardworking, very smart individuals.
Cons
Recent layoffs happened since the company was spending too much money on projects it acquired. Makes sense, but the layoffs left some disorganization and confusion and less confidence in jobs. Also, the review system is really stupid in that they ask you to quarterly review all your teammates and direct reports and bosses... Both positive and negative feedback. Giving this level of feedback to peers and bosses is super awkward and not helpful.
