Pros
The work is really easy and mundane so you can just listen to music all day. It’s “fun” if you’re out of college and are looking to work with people your age, but stay out of the drama, and don’t expect to be taken seriously within the rest of the company. At least there is free food, a nice cafeteria area, and free garage parking.
Cons
Everybody who helped create and maintain a competent team and healthy culture left for better companies. This team and company is a shell of what it used to be. No communication from leads or upper management about updates, projects or changes until the very last second— sometimes even after the changes occurred. They consistently make empty promises and never follow up on things. The leads are basically kids who don’t have experience being managers/leaders and got those positions through favoritism or seniority. I would not trust them to manage a team, let alone handle patient specimens. If the patients and clients could see the mess behind the curtain, they would find a different company so fast. The work of “helping patients” doesn’t feel fulfilling after a couple months in when you start seeing all the drama. This place will literally suck the soul out of you, so unless you’re desperate for money, I wouldn’t think about working here. Oh I should also mention that overtime is mandatory so any inkling of your work/life balance will be destroyed.
