When I want to know if there are growth opportunities with a company - I don't ask "are there growth opportunities?"...... I ask "Do you personally know anyone there that has been promoted twice?" Interviewers at IC rattled off names left and right. In the year I've been here I personally know 10+ people who have been promoted once and another 2 or 3 who have been promoted twice. Sr. Leadership cares and listens - and puts themselves at the bottom of the people pyramid. People get recognized for their efforts on a daily basis. There is no throwing folks under the bus. We are growing. The mood is optimistic and energized. The work-life balance is good. There is a good deal of autonomy without being micromanaged. Metrics-managed with good planning cycles. They are very picky about who they bring in - so there are very few poor performers or irritating people.
