After nearly a decade with the company, I consistently experienced a toxic, male-dominated environment where career progression was not based on merit or performance, but on who you knew. Despite repeatedly expressing interest in development opportunities and putting in the work, I was repeatedly overlooked for promotions in favour of colleagues with far less experience but closer personal ties to management. Favouritism was widespread and unspoken, making advancement nearly impossible unless you were part of the inner circle. The lack of transparency and genuine support for employee growth was disheartening, and ultimately led me to seek opportunities elsewhere
