Pros
Fantastic co-workers who really care about students. Excellent benefits- free classes for you and your family, retirement contribution, and fantastic dental insurance (I cannot speak to the health insurance as I did not use it).
Cons
Horrible management, and you will be worked to the bone. Management provides pressure for quotas despite this being a non-profit institution. Policies are enforced haphazardly, often to the detriment of both the student and the advisor. The low-to-mid level employees WANT to help students, but management creates policies that set students up to fail. 50 hour weeks on a 35K salary with no signs for a salary increase or readily available advancement within the company.
