      Promote students’ knowledge of cultural statement using explicit examples of the different fields of Hispanic culture. (Geography, history, arts, music, and traditions)

      Cons

      Not always instructors can determine what should be taught, I will need to know the state/district standards and the curriculum outline which I will need to follow.

      Pros

      Flexible scheduling. Good coworkers. Meaningful work. Above average campus support.

      Cons

      Low pay, with no possibilities of raises for the last couple of years and probably for the next could have years as well. Ever increasing responsibilities as statewide leadership changes and state funding cuts occur. Disconnect between statewide leadership and local campus needs.
