Pros
About half the students were attentive and interacted with the material in a genuine way. Folks are generally nice. Access to printing facilities. 6am access to school, so I can prepare.
Cons
Teachers are forced to use the McGraw-Hill software, which is naturally constrictive in how content can be presented to students. Whoever decided to use this was not a biology teacher. In my small class, about half of students plagiarized each other or from an online source. This was after I asked them to PLEASE ask me for help on completing the assignment. "Don't wait until the last minute!" Sound familiar? Unusual grading percentage criteria that was subject-wide and campus-wide (I think, can't remember) - this was to cater to student complaints! Unless you're full-time and can be on campus to gossip around and whatnot, you will not be included in decision-making.
