When you manager tells you daily how ethical and what a great manager they are, you better run and run fast! And then they put someone as your manager who can't even get along with anyone in the company, you might as well hang it up. When a 24 year veteran of the company walks out the door with no notice because of the bull crap spewed on a daily basis, it should have been a clue. When turnover in the department is 98%, it should have been a clue. When the Senior Vice President was fired for embezzling money during your first few days, that should have been a clue. When your manager can barely turn on a computer and the bimbo he relies on as his right hand calls herself his "work wife", you better run!
