Pros

The level of industry knowledge is pretty solid, most of my coworkers had years of experience in their respective industries, and were willing to share their knowledge at any time.

Cons

Compensation for level of experience, & benefits options are far below competitors. The main problem with this company is due to private equity firms coming in and expecting ever increasing revenues, this lead to micromanagement, worse compensation, losses of valuable employees to other firms, & generally a much worse environment to work in. This also lead to rapid acquisition of other firms, regardless of how well the acquisition would fit in the company culture. They have been bleeding employees for the past few years, and competitors have been snatching up anyone they can.

Pros

Was hybrid with 1-day in office. Office was really nice. They provided free food.

Cons

Micro-managing like no other. Impossible to understand assignments and or be on the same page as supervisor. EVERYONE is related to each other in one way or another. Normally this would not be an issue, but there is no upwards progression unless you were a family or family-adjacent. Necessary processes for bonus eligibility, such as performance reviews, were inconsistent, unclear, and sloppy. Awful work life balance and your managers ensure to pass off their bad mood to you. The worst communication practices. Job role and duties are completely unusable if you are attempting to move out of Forensic Economics. Their HR is despicable and not there to help their employees.
