Pros

Some talented colleagues who are supportive and professional. Office facilities are generally well-maintained. A few opportunities for professional development, although not consistently available to everyone.

Cons

Micromanagement: The company suffers from severe micromanagement issues. Managers often get involved in every minute detail of your work, leaving little room for autonomy or personal input. This not only stifles creativity but also significantly hampers productivity and job satisfaction. Partiality and Bias: There is a notable lack of fairness in how opportunities and rewards are distributed. Promotions and key projects often seem to go to those who are favored rather than based on merit. This creates a toxic environment where favoritism is prevalent, and deserving employees feel undervalued and overlooked. Poor Management Practices: The management style is outdated and ineffective, with a tendency to focus more on control rather than leadership. Constructive feedback is rare, and there is little to no support for career growth or personal development. Advice to Prospective Employees: Before considering a position here, I strongly recommend evaluating whether you can thrive in an environment marked by high levels of micromanagement and favoritism. If you value autonomy, fairness, and a supportive work culture, you might want to look elsewhere. The negative aspects of working here can outweigh the few positives, and it’s crucial to find a workplace where you are truly valued and your contributions are recognized based on merit. Overall: If you’re looking for a place where you can grow professionally and feel fairly treated, this might not be the right fit. The current work culture poses significant challenges, and it would be wise to carefully consider these factors before making a decision.

Pros

Relatively stabile company in terms of no layoffs, good product fit, generally great team members across the organization

Cons

Too many chefs in the kitchen on majority of the projects, too much involvement from c-suite on minor details, too many people in senior positions make very last minute demands and do not supply the support to make them happen in a timely fashion, last but not least c-suite is pretty much never satisfied. C-suite will frequently lash out on one person on a call with many stakeholders for a small mistake or a mistake that isn't their fault (even if it was a big mistake I don't condone this type of behavior). I don't know if I ever heard any positive feedback at all from C-suite to anyone that wasn't already quite senior.
