Pros

The company has fantastic benefits: hair and nail salon, multiple gyms and pools, in-house cafeterias, continuing education opportunities, and great bonuses. Good pay with opportunities to advance internally. Fun parties throughout the year to boost morale and bond as a team.

Cons

The working environment is terrible and the absolute worse I've ever experienced. Coworkers are gossipy and ready to throw you under the bus for any mistake. I faced repeated discrimination and harassment from two co-workers based on my age. To the company's credit, supervisors and other co-workers were very supportive of me and handled this situation very well. Management is definitely engaged in the "old boys club" world, play favorites, and give less work to some associates and overwork others. My two co-workers made working here so much better.

Pros

JM provides good opportunities for the range of professional corporate occupations available in South Florida.

Cons

Too much "get along, go along" culture which may be okay if one is planning to stay with JM through retirement, but is not helpful if one's career progression involves employment with other companies. As a rule, the best places I worked at encouraged creativity, systems thinking, adaptability, integrity, and trust. These values felt lacking during my six-month tenure at JM back in 2014.
