Pros

Great pay, benefits and bonus. The CEO appears to care. There are still pockets of a normally functioning company within operations but corporate is a political mess.

Cons

Truly awful and oppressive leadership that revolves around a good ol boys club. Most associates are unhappy and are aware of the rise in toxicity however speaking up can cost you your job. Real feedback is drowned out by pushing associates to share positive reviews. Towing the status quo is essential to you keeping your position, you must repeat that the company is the best place to work and nepotism is common place. Innovation is low. Literally attended meetings where leaders would discuss tactics to remove people. This lack of moral is getting worse daily.

Pros

JM provides good opportunities for the range of professional corporate occupations available in South Florida.

Cons

Too much "get along, go along" culture which may be okay if one is planning to stay with JM through retirement, but is not helpful if one's career progression involves employment with other companies. As a rule, the best places I worked at encouraged creativity, systems thinking, adaptability, integrity, and trust. These values felt lacking during my six-month tenure at JM back in 2014.
