Pros
- Cool product - Free Jerky and occasional gifts - Not a ton of micro-management
Cons
Jack Links is a company of hypocrisy. It's a $1 billion company that forces its employees to buy their own tickets to its major events, which they have enough money to put on but can't give anyone bonuses and lay off countless people a year. They offer bare minimum for benefits, no sick days, all a very small amount of vacation days, and their upper management bullies middle management and sales, and yet they have the gall to hold an employee appreciation week. What a joke. Morale on average is terrible. There is a lot of desperation and a lot of abuse, and no one is willing to help the employees. If you wanted to work from home, reduce or increase hours, or try to convince them to change policies, they ignore you and make you get back in line. It also came to my attention that I was being underpaid for my job by around $8 - $10 per hour.
