Pros

Very few pros of working here. Work life balance was pretty good. Compensation was OK, but you better get all you want up front as raises are rare. If you are a great performer, you might get a cost of living increase year after year.

Cons

With many acquisitions and sell offs, the environment is consistently changing. If you aren't an original Jacobs employee or in the corporate headquarters, don't expect to move up the ladder. Likewise if you aren't part of the cliques that exist, don't expect your ideas or work to be advanced or approved of.

Pros

Love the culture and the people.

Cons

The health insurance no longer covers GLP-1 or other weight-loss related medications (specifically excludes them), which I find appalling. They did cover it, but then removed coverage for all company plans. The benefits of weight-loss and obesity-related medical coverage are so high for employers and yet Jacobs decided not to care about their employees who need them.
