Pros

Relative job safety. Some nice people to work with. Push for internal movement. Top of the range perks for companies of the same calibre. Lots of systems and processes in place, so you can get guidance on everything.

Cons

Main driver is billability. No one reaches out if overworked, but dropping below 99% billability is escalated to the top brass immediately. Mixture of projects is mostly unexciting but hectic, unless you work on the few fancy mega projects or management consultancy arms. Official company line is: you are responsible for yourself, so better network and know the right people.

Pros

Love the culture and the people.

Cons

The health insurance no longer covers GLP-1 or other weight-loss related medications (specifically excludes them), which I find appalling. They did cover it, but then removed coverage for all company plans. The benefits of weight-loss and obesity-related medical coverage are so high for employers and yet Jacobs decided not to care about their employees who need them.
