Pros

one of the largest companies in the industry with lots of interesting projects, if you are lucky enough to be on one.

Cons

The company is so large that it is very difficult to be seen by management for all of your hard work and dedication. Pay is based on your years of service not necessarily based on your performance. Young ambitious professionals outperforming their more seasoned co-workers can be overlooked and taken advantage of. Managers tend to worry more about looking good for corporate for their next promotion instead of building up their young professionals. Better off getting your experience elsewhere and joining with several years of experience under your belt at a higher-level position.

Pros

Love the culture and the people.

Cons

The health insurance no longer covers GLP-1 or other weight-loss related medications (specifically excludes them), which I find appalling. They did cover it, but then removed coverage for all company plans. The benefits of weight-loss and obesity-related medical coverage are so high for employers and yet Jacobs decided not to care about their employees who need them.
