Pros

People on projects are nice to work with and have a lot of energy for cutting-edge work. The projects were really interesting and had a lot of learning potential.

Cons

Toxic Self-Learning Culture, no Learning & Development budget without unreasonable involvement from senior management (Director Level). Toxic Timesheet Culture, more energy is spent to ensure billability than delivering good work. Projects are run 'Tall and Narrow', with few developers and too many managers (The opposite of Agile). Inward-looking culture with more focus on doing things the 'Jacobs Way' than industry standards or what would make sense, with management just becoming an echo chamber of pointless processes or irrelevant experiences of what they manage.

Pros

Love the culture and the people.

Cons

The health insurance no longer covers GLP-1 or other weight-loss related medications (specifically excludes them), which I find appalling. They did cover it, but then removed coverage for all company plans. The benefits of weight-loss and obesity-related medical coverage are so high for employers and yet Jacobs decided not to care about their employees who need them.
