INCREDIBLE culture. Honestly no other finance organization like it. Completely unique and really supportive of team members. If you work for Jane Street your will encounter perks you have never experienced. Think google-esq. They pride themselves on taking care of their employees and going the extra mile to stand out and provide a unique and amazing workplace.LOTS of tools and supportive assets.
Cons
The culture is SO unique. Given it’s so Different from any other financial organization. It’s is very much a young “math” focused. So it’s extremely relaxed. Additionally, they have a flat hierarchy. So with that comes a lack of structure and the roles are VERY hard to define. In the newly created Admin roles, the admin structure GREATLY lacked in feedback structure and could be SUPER undefined and overwhelming.
