Very difficult to get a raise even if you are meeting all of your goals.
Bonuses are little to none. I want to note that a bonus is in fact something extra and not guaranteed but when a company creates goals that appear to be pulled out of thin air and not based on previous years then it seems to be impossible to get a decent bonuses not matter how hard everyone works.
Management appears to not care about what engineering staff thinks needs to change to make the company a more pleasurable experience.
Jobs are continually going over budget since billing rates are so high that we need to underbid jobs to get them.
Quarterly meetings are pointless as the Q and A section only answers "softball" questions while ignoring questions that are an attempt to have engineering staff actually have a discussion on how to fix JH.
Benefits are poor.
Since we are owned by a financial investment firm all that matters is profit. Company morale and performing quality technical work are not a true concern for upper management.
