Pros

- Jerry is saving it's customers on average $887 per year. It's awesome to know that our current customers in total are saving tens of millions of dollars a year on their insurance. - We're really focused on machine learning and automation. It's exciting to be on the cutting edge of these fields. - We have daily standups and weekly all company meetings with a high level of transparency and trust. - We've been growing at 10x a year for the past two years and will grow 300-500% this year, which is really exciting. - We have offices in Palo Alto, Buffalo, and Toronto. We are also very flexible around remote employees who work from home.

Cons

- Our rapid business growth has lead to rapid team growth and we're constantly working to improve our training and onboarding to enable us to scale as smoothly as possible.

Pros

Working as a Software Engineer at Jerry.ai honestly feels like being in a constant sprint with some of the sharpest minds I’ve met. The dev culture here is wild, people think fast, build fast, and expect results that actually matter. You’re given full ownership of your projects, from design to deployment, and it’s super satisfying seeing your code go live within days. The engineering problems are legit interesting too we’re talking large-scale optimization, performance tuning, and automation challenges that push you to think beyond just syntax. I really vibe with the “figure it out, ship it, and iterate” mindset. It’s high-energy, collaborative, and full of those late-night “wait, that actually worked?” moments.

Cons

If you’re someone who values crystal-clear direction and structured workflows like me, Jerry.ai might feel a bit overwhelming at times. The company’s still scaling, so processes can feel rough around the edges and sometimes documentation lags behind features, and it’s easy to get lost juggling multiple priorities. Communication across teams can get tricky too, especially when everyone’s moving a mile a minute. You learn to sync fast and over-communicate, but it takes a bit of adjusting. Also, because expectations are high, imposter syndrome can sneak in when you’re surrounded by brilliant people. But if you take it as motivation instead of pressure, you’ll grow faster than anywhere else.
