Pros

Teams are great, colleagues support each other wholeheartedly

Cons

Terrible management. Senior executives are either oblivious or outright ignore all employee concerns. They preach transparency and positive culture but actively make decisions that negatively affect employees and hide their decisions. Only addressing the problem by providing excuses when employees find out and start asking questions. Promotions and bonuses are entirely subjective and tied to whether or not you are friends with the manager/senior leadership, but they lie and sell that the company promotes meritocracy. It's very clear that the execs don't truly care about us as human beings, and it's made extremely apparent by our poor compensation and lack of benefits overall. Most of us employees aren't even provided with an annual comp review or fair market rates even after they brag about having money in the bank.

Pros

Working as a Software Engineer at Jerry.ai honestly feels like being in a constant sprint with some of the sharpest minds I’ve met. The dev culture here is wild, people think fast, build fast, and expect results that actually matter. You’re given full ownership of your projects, from design to deployment, and it’s super satisfying seeing your code go live within days. The engineering problems are legit interesting too we’re talking large-scale optimization, performance tuning, and automation challenges that push you to think beyond just syntax. I really vibe with the “figure it out, ship it, and iterate” mindset. It’s high-energy, collaborative, and full of those late-night “wait, that actually worked?” moments.

Cons

If you’re someone who values crystal-clear direction and structured workflows like me, Jerry.ai might feel a bit overwhelming at times. The company’s still scaling, so processes can feel rough around the edges and sometimes documentation lags behind features, and it’s easy to get lost juggling multiple priorities. Communication across teams can get tricky too, especially when everyone’s moving a mile a minute. You learn to sync fast and over-communicate, but it takes a bit of adjusting. Also, because expectations are high, imposter syndrome can sneak in when you’re surrounded by brilliant people. But if you take it as motivation instead of pressure, you’ll grow faster than anywhere else.
