Pros

The culture created by the employees was the best I've ever experienced. We truly worked as a team no matter what department you were in. Above the team lead level, you wont feel that connection. benefits (not compensation) were pretty good

Cons

Jerry will be successful but they will continue to cut employees and spread the workload to others. I saw a number of employees let go; a few not even because of performance, and the workload of these individuals was only given to others. Jerry likes to "promote" employees and then add completely new expectations a month later without any additional compensation. There were very unclear expectations, and often changing responsibilities. When there were salary and quarterly reviews, it was hard to "meet"+ expectations because expectations changed so often. Even if you met or even exceeded performance goals, often you were told "needs improvement". I understand that things changed quite often but it's very unfair to say "needs" improvement when you cannot present clear expectations for even 3 months.

Thanks for sharing your feedback. Teamwork is how we operate here at Jerry. We have had a lot of changes to our customer service and sales team in the past few years. As we improve our product and our operations, we do continue to refine expectations and role requirements to meet business needs. We recognize an environment with a lot of change is not for everyone and will work hard to make sure those changes are clear for our current staff. We appreciate the feedback.

Pros

Working as a Software Engineer at Jerry.ai honestly feels like being in a constant sprint with some of the sharpest minds I’ve met. The dev culture here is wild, people think fast, build fast, and expect results that actually matter. You’re given full ownership of your projects, from design to deployment, and it’s super satisfying seeing your code go live within days. The engineering problems are legit interesting too we’re talking large-scale optimization, performance tuning, and automation challenges that push you to think beyond just syntax. I really vibe with the “figure it out, ship it, and iterate” mindset. It’s high-energy, collaborative, and full of those late-night “wait, that actually worked?” moments.

Cons

If you’re someone who values crystal-clear direction and structured workflows like me, Jerry.ai might feel a bit overwhelming at times. The company’s still scaling, so processes can feel rough around the edges and sometimes documentation lags behind features, and it’s easy to get lost juggling multiple priorities. Communication across teams can get tricky too, especially when everyone’s moving a mile a minute. You learn to sync fast and over-communicate, but it takes a bit of adjusting. Also, because expectations are high, imposter syndrome can sneak in when you’re surrounded by brilliant people. But if you take it as motivation instead of pressure, you’ll grow faster than anywhere else.
