Cons
- recent restructuring broke trust with employees. Expect more white color layoffs in the future - A key to the CEOs strategy is keeping costs low. Cost cutting is largely focused on cost of labor. This means that it’s now much much harder to progress financially - recent strategy changes make managerial experience much more difficult. They want fewer middle managers and each manager is expected to manager more team members. -DEI initiatives strongly favor women and POC for advancement opportunities. I would caution against joining Deere if you’re a white male as these policies will make career progression nearly impossible.
