Pros

401k benefit is great (10% for 6% match), most of the time the people you work with are genuine, work flexibility, and working for a global market leader. Great company to have on your resume especially right now...my advice if you work there apply out while you can. Best part of leaving is you finally see how the company. My advice to new hires. Take advantage of the loop holes in the STAR interview process. Switch platforms for each promotion every 18 months you'll be SG8 in 3.5 years post EDP. Without actually contributing anything of value for 12-16 months of the 3.5 years.

Cons

If you love meetings to plan meetings this is your place! The amount of wasted engineering time in meetings is comical with the amount of busy work reports/ tracking middle management requires. Camouflaged micro-management Other reviews summed it up perfectly...pay becomes stagnant and the rave amongst "woke" management is diversity so good luck if your a white, Indian, or eastern asian male in engineering looking to further your career. Middle management is just a bunch of "yes men/ women" but that's corporate America. Brown nose until you make it.

Pros

Fun work, interesting problems to solve, good people in the office. Good 401k match.

Cons

Deere corporate doesn't care about it's employees. No promotions, tiny raises. No equity. Bad health insurance. Some people get promoted but only if you are good at kissing a** it seems.
