Pros
Social and team-building events were fun to attend. There are some great employees that work here. Great place to start your IT career until something better comes along. Depending on your department and manager, the environment is fairly laid back for the most part. Benefits start right away, 4 weeks vacation plus one week PTO once you reach 5+ years employment.
Cons
-During the negotiation/hiring phase, be sure to get as much $$$ as you can to start, as raises afterwards are very low. -They conduct an internal Employee Satisfaction Survey annually, though it doesn't appear that they pay attention to any employee complaints. Instead they gloss over them, and highlight their "accomplishments" -Seem to have little loyalty to senior staff (those with over 5 yrs experience). Their salary and raises are not market-competitive, so the best employees leave -very high turnover compared to other IT jobs I've been in, again, due to poor compensation -annual performance reviews seem to have little to no relation to your salary increase. Everyone gets an across the board 1-3% increase, no matter how well or badly you performed. -Once they figure you are a hard worker, more work gets shoved on your plate, with very little compensation given in return
