Truly awful experience - Summer Associate Jones Day Employee Review

I felt lied to - I was recruited being told that I could spend my summer working in a specific practice and turned down other (much higher ranked) law firms for that opportunity. When the summer started, I was basically told that while I could take a project or two in the practice area that I wanted to work in that if I wanted to receive an offer that I would need to focus on other areas. I felt that the main partners were rude and dismissive (both of my concerns and in general), felt the culture was not friendly or welcoming, and I was very happy to secure post-graduate employment outside of the firm.
