Pros

Despite being smaller company compared to other local facilities the pay is better.

Cons

No communication (ZERO), things are usually found out last minute. Yearly raises do not happen (even when promised). You will work in a constant cycle of doing good then being scolded for not doing well enough. Nothing ever gets fixed (higher up issues) Managers hired are usually nobody from within and it is impossible to get promoted to a higher position more times than not. I would consider other places before taking a position here.

Hello, we greatly appreciate your feedback. We do strive to provide effective communication to our team from top to bottom through various different mediums including emails, social media, the intranet, flyers, and more. If you have any additional ideas on how to increase communication, we would love to hear those. When it comes to compensation and benefits, we review these annually striving for market competitiveness. We also do strive to promote from within and have had around 30 promotions made in 2022. Again, if you would like to provide us more feedback or ideas we would love to hear. You can reach out to us at humanresources@jordanvalley.org.

Pros

Very patient-centric. Our goal is to get to the yes for our patients. The patients' entire well being is considered. This covers medical, mental health, and dental care. It also may be providing clothing or shoes to a patient in need and making connections to other services.

Cons

We grow fast! There are always some hiccups that come with change management in a rapid-growth organization.

Pros

There are endless opportunities to improve the organization's structure, processes, and procedures, and make meaningful change What Jordan Valley does is easy to market; it's a meaningful service meant for people who often can't afford healthcare. The pace is sustainable. There's a lot to do, but it can't all be worked on at once. I'm empowered to tackle one problem at a time, while creating a system for completing something similar in the future. There's freedom to try new things.

Cons

There are very few established, cross-organizational processes or procedures. A lot of time and energy is spent reinventing the wheel every time a recurring project comes up. Communication from the top doesn't make its way down the chain to front-line staff, so there are internal communication gaps.
