I had the pleasure of babysitting for many family from different cultures and it was an incredibly rewarding experience. From the moment I arrived, I felt welcomed and appreciated. The kids are always a joy to be around—full of energy and creativity. We spent our time playing games, reading stories, and even doing some fun arts and crafts together. The parents were very communicative and provided clear instructions, which made everything run smoothly. They truly value the importance of a safe and nurturing environment for their kids, which made me feel confident in my role!

Cons

I don’t really have an cons because if something does come up from my end I will let the team know or my manager and we talk through it.

I've worked with Jovie Newport Beach since 2022. I started as an on-call nanny and worked my way up into administration. I am now in charge of recruitment, event coordination, and general management. I love the company culture and encourage families to use our services and for potential nannies to apply! I have met many great people through the Jovie network! It has been great!

Help find you a family to work with. I could see how this could perhaps be great for part time

Cons

LOW PAY for the job. After 3 years with Jovie, I was getting paid $16/hr and my full-time family was paying somewhere from $26-28/hr. They told my nanny family I was getting higher raises than I was. MUCH fairer companies out there. No PTO due to "not being salaried employees" even though that's not how PTO works! Constantly nagged about logging in my hours even though I was always on top of it. Going through them was a pain. Don't recommend. Always wondered if why they rebranded from College Nannies and Sitters was to try to separate from all the negative reviews.
