Pros

Amazing staff! If something comes up last minute to where I can’t make my shift, they make sure to get my shift covered. I always hear back from managers promptly. I have the opportunity to pick my days and hours which makes it extremely helpful in the summer! There’s consistent events for the nanny’s, it’s great for bonding and getting to know each other! I have worked for Jovie of North Texas for a year and I have loved it!

Cons

Sometimes the app doesn’t work great—it glitches from time to time: it says I clocked in/out far away from the location or tells me I’m not clocked in when I already did.

Pros

Flexibility in scheduling, feeling like I am appreciated and enjoying caring for families who value me as an employee.

Cons

I don’t have anything negative to say about this company. I have have been for over 12+ years. I think that sums it up.

Pros

Help find you a family to work with. I could see how this could perhaps be great for part time

Cons

LOW PAY for the job. After 3 years with Jovie, I was getting paid $16/hr and my full-time family was paying somewhere from $26-28/hr. They told my nanny family I was getting higher raises than I was. MUCH fairer companies out there. No PTO due to "not being salaried employees" even though that's not how PTO works! Constantly nagged about logging in my hours even though I was always on top of it. Going through them was a pain. Don't recommend. Always wondered if why they rebranded from College Nannies and Sitters was to try to separate from all the negative reviews.
