Pros
Hands down, the people. Smart, interesting, fun, supportive, collaborative. It was great going to work each day knowing you'd see such amazing people by your side.
Cons
K12 used to be on the cutting edge of supplying amazing K-12 content to students. The work was well thought out and the experiences were top notch. Then management decided to focus solely on budgets and stopped worrying about a user's experience. Teachers and students are suffering because this company is now being run only to make money (or recoup what has already been lost). The norm is "good enough" and the employees are continually beaten down for all of their hard work and effort because management has decided to cut corners everywhere they can.
