Pros
PTO uploaded immediately, but does not roll over. 25 cents 401k match, work from home dependent on you role
Cons
HR is managed by a large group of white women - maybe 2 men. HR positions here are not for someone with a family. It’s more suited for a single person fully dedicated to spending early mornings, late evenings and weekends if necessary to do the job. This will get you promoted in less than a year. You need to be willing to kiss butt and make coffee runs while your at it. If your passive and do projects as your assigned, volunteered and told you will do just fine but don’t expect any growth. There is no guidance or helpful insight as you start your role. Your thrown in and you have to teach yourself to swim in the pile of garbages of unproductive processes. No life boats are handed out unless your somehow well connected to those in charge. Pay is poor, (with the exception of the executives) especially the teachers. To make up for this a 10% bonus is dangled in your face each year to keep you there just a little while longer.
