Pros

Personal Offices. Some people are nice, professional but they are only few, can count on my one hand.

Cons

I would not recommend this place even to my worst enemy. Manager is professional and micromanages. Doesn’t know nothing in Project Management but wants to book her time with 1:1s. When asked for guidance, the manager sends to other line managers. Because every minute needs to be documented, my manager who managed others, while having no studies on her own, would “book” her day by scheduling 1:1. The health coverage kicks in only after 45 days!!! 401K kicks in only after 90 days!!! Unheard of! but this is the essence of KAI. I was recruited right before Xmas holidays and was not allowed to work from home a single day first 90 days! While no one was in the office, I have to commute for about 3 hours daily just to clock in and out, read SOPs and worked on some paperwork from empty office when I could successfully do it from home. Terrible leadership! HR lies pretty much about everything. I was told, the company is very busy with a lot going on: I had to “share” my project with another 2 people. I was told I will line manage junior team mates, never happened. In a span of 50 days, two people (of the same level as me) left the company. BIG RED FLAG! Sour taste in the mouth after horrible unprofessional experience at KAI.

Pros

There's enough to stay busy most of the time. Good staff Personal Office

Cons

The lack of upper management presence in the office leaves a little to be desired. They try to run the company from a different time zone, and it creates a disconnect between PMs/Executives and the Research associates. The software and development teams are well paid to do virtually nothing. the PMs and Executives haven't won any major bids to increase or improve budgetary numbers and most employees do not have any overhead time, so they are always working on billable work. There has been some major turnover because the PMs do not know how to handle or manage the people around them. Most employees are working greater than 10 hours a day, and are not getting approved for time off.
