Pros
When the economy is buoyant there are many opportunities. The company selects good employees, provides good leadership and looks after its people when there is plenty of work. There is a good co-operative culture within specific work groups, while personnel from most external groups are usually happy to pass on information.
Cons
Business & Administrative procedures, processes etc are abundant but are often difficult to find. When the economy enters a down turn, shedding personnel rapidly takes place. There is a noticable trend with some of the younger employees to avoid or refuse to co-operate if not of direct benefit to them.
