Pros
The pay rate ($25+/hr); most days you only really work 5-6 hours, chill the rest of the time. The lower middle managers were great, upstanding people who did everything they could to protect us from upper management.
Cons
KBR misclassified our positions so they could underpay us by $4/hour. The U.S. Department of Labor sued them over this underpayment issue. Even after the DOL ruled against KBR, I still had to fight for two years to get the $8000 owed to me. All the chairs that we used were literally fished out of dumpsters on the base. Upper management refused to purchase any chairs for years.
