It is one of several charter schools in the city and has plans for significant growth in the next several years. Part of a national network of charter schools that are managed by and receive support from headquarters.
Cons
In only its third year of operation a chaotic startup atmosphere persists. To be successful and professionally content at KIPP you must thrive in a constantly changing and poorly organized environment. The administration lacks sufficient people management skills and overcrowding/Inadequate workspace is a huge problem.
