Pros

Pay and Benefits. Nothing else.

Incredibly toxic work place. Supervisors will undermine your abilities and hinder all your learning processes throughout your career. You will constantly feel as though you don't know what you are doing or talking about because management will make you feel like you don't. No support from management. Heavy micro- management and control. Don't be fooled by the "independence" in sales, you may have a manager who makes you come into the office even though the company doesn't require it. Processes and data entry that will take time away from selling. Very slow career progression. Absolutely no control in terms of customer satisfaction as you will not schedule the job or order parts. Everything will be your fault even though you zero control over everything but selling. You will feel like you are doing everything with customer coordination because it is acceptable for supervisors to not answer their phone or emails. KONE provides a car stipend but no gas card. You will be spending your own money to visit clients.

Pros

The benefits were great although expensive. Lots of flexibility with your schedule for appointments. 2 days in office 3 days work from home. Good PTO and 401k was great.

Cons

There are a lot of great reasons to work for Kone but overall the environment isn't great. Management has their favorites so the employees that aren't within that circle are treated poorly to the point of quitting.
