Pros

- Develop strong technical skills - *Most* Team members are very nice and fun to work with - WFH 2/5 days a week - Some down months are very relaxed (August, after quarter ends) - Many exit opps to in-house valuation roles, some corp dev. - but very hard to break into high finance.

Cons

- Busy season hours are terrible, especially in your first year. Think 80+ hours for 6 months of the year. Second year its a bit better on hours as you are better at the job. - Pay is abysmal for the hours you put in. Bonus is like a few weeks of extra pay. Makes you feel like you don't want to take on extra work once you hit your billable goal, really should make the bonuses much more. - Some managers are unrealistic about expectations. - Work get repetitive and boring quickly

Pros

Working on a diverse range of projects.

Cons

This is for the analytics practice within DAS. People were some of the worst I’ve ever worked with. They have zero empathy and no emotional intelligence. In addition, the leaders of the practice is arrogant and does not care a single bit about professional development and consistently talk behind people’s back. The work is non impactful, client is often not truly satisfied with the low quality AI slop deliverable, and extremely boring and repetitive. Pay is the lowest compare to other big 4 M&A analytics practice.
