Pros
Good career development and exposure to variety of work. Plenty of smart, talented people.
Cons
401(k) program is misleading. The firm's contribution is only done once per year and if you do not have the requisite one year of service at the time of the annual contribution you don't get it. Additionally, the next year's contribution is prorated based on how long you have had your required year of service. I will have been with the firm for almost two years without any employer contribution to my retirement and the amount of that eventual contribution will be abysmal because it is prorated. They should instead do the standard approach of contributing each paycheck and simply have a minimum vesting period. I recommend candidates ask their recruiter for specifics of retirement program and bonus structure (and expected percentages) as this is not made clear by talent acquisition or in the offer letter.
