Pros
Benefits are very good. Some free lunch days. Not a terrible office/lab location, and decent on-site perks. Important mission and all that. Most non-management folks are pleasant to interact with, regardless of department.
Cons
I’d warn prospects to be wary of how they expect their work/life balance to be here at Kairos. It’s turbulent and stress filled, no matter your role. They’ve really been pushing “inclusion and support” as aspects of their company culture, but often give extreme workloads and passive aggressively criticize you or ignore you trying to bring up your concerns/issues. Upper management/HR leaders need a major reality check on what isn’t working. Seems like ignorance is bliss to a lot of these folks. Problems or delays are indirectly summed up to ‘personal deficit’ of an employee/team instead of really considering company pressures or constraints.. You’ll quickly be shoved out the door for any justifiable reason if you become a squeaky wheel, or don’t silently accept the piling of workloads. Really seems like they don’t respect employees setting reasonable work boundaries which is pretty sad.
