No overtime or death marches (So great work-life balance) Great healthcare and insurance benefits We get a decent bonus Realistic project planning expectations The Software Managers and workers are great people It's a stable company which has avoided the double perils of Covid and inflation in its industry
Cons
Like all companies, there can be some egos The tech stack should be upgraded in many areas to meet industry standards Needs to improve its overall deployment process Upward mobility is something I don't see a lot of (though, I guess this is a plus for job seekers, but I think it should be stated) Legacy projects often times pull in more resources than they should
