Pros
You can work from home and set your own schedule. The pay is not too bad.
Cons
There is a pressure in a somewhat competitive environment to have the best student satisfaction metrics for the classes you will facilitate. Managing classes and teachers can be challenging due to factors that are outside of your reach. For example, if you manage an area of the U.S. that is in a rural area and there aren't too many instructors in that area, you are still expected to staff classes and have good to decent student satisfaction.
