Pros
They give you pretty good materials that walk you through all the main steps of teaching classes. They provide plenty of practice material so students remain occupied and generally can expect to see score improvements even if the teacher isn't yet an expert.
Cons
They take a pretty huge share of the overly inflated costs students (or their parents) pay. Travel costs eat into pay for private tutoring, despite travel allowance. Once you become familiar with the material you might find the strict teaching steps get in your way and you might find that the test makers or other companies actually have better practice material but you're not allowed to use it with students.
