Pros
Strived to create an empowering culture. Kaplan hires amazing teachers and delivers clear results for students. Many opportunities for employees to advance and grow.
Cons
Still too much ego-driven decision making - not enough listening. Also, overreactions and not enough common-sense in interpreting student surveys. Reviews are important but teachers bore too much responsibility for factors beyond their control. Also, "promotions" did not always equal pay increases. Teachers/faculty who didn't ask for raises (mostly women) were offered them.
