Pros
The company (and CEO) is probably the best thought-leader in the marketing space. What Kapost is doing and preaching is on the cutting edge of marketing and most Fortune 1000 companies read and follow what kapost says and sells. The technical founder is probably the best eng leader i've ever seen. Personally, he's thoughtful and kind while at the same time able to go as deep as needed. He's also founded and scaled a business before so knows what to do to get Kapost where it needs to go.
Cons
Startups are constantly trying to fight for more market share and it's not easy. Because of this, employees are expected to bring it every single day. Some employees can't handle that whereas others thrive at it. There's turnover because of this and some people are disgruntled
