Pros
The daily challenges. We have the potential to be great but we do not take advantage of all of our resources. The idea that you can work in a variety of different areas. You can spend an entire career at Kellogg's and with internal movement, you can hold a miriade of different positions. Also, even though K values are most often a thing that people shrug off as garbage, the idea behind them is fantastic. The closer you get to Battle Creek, the closer to actually living the values comes into play. It is deluited as you leave the Battle Creek city limits.
Cons
Constant change. We don't try things long enough to see if they will work. We also don't think things through on all levels. Too many decisions are made behind doors without asking the advice of people who are front line employees. You are looked upon as only being as good as your last act. A hundred good acts are forgotten when 1 thing doesn't go right. The front line managers are not treated with the respect that they should be. There is nothing wrong with expecting certain accomplishemnts from your people, but not giving people the resources they need coupled with the constant threat of losing their jobs is not a way to motivate people.
