Profitable company with painfully bureaucratic culture. It feels like the 1970s working there. - Sales Representative Kellanova Employee Review

Pros

Working for Kellogg's is good for your resume because everyone recognizes the company. This company is doing very well financially. They are crushing their competition, General Mills. They also have very innovative products in their category.

Cons

Kellogg's is stuck in the '70s when it comes to hierarchy and management styles. There are a lot of great people there, but the culture is just stale and it is impossible to ever suggest a new idea. The business is not going to need most of its sales reps because computer-controlled distribution platforms are eventually going to be able to do that job instead. Also, working in the food industry as a manager is a bad career decision because the industry is getting smaller and smaller every day. In the future, it will not take very many people to run these companies, so the career prospects are poor.
